1) The Unthinkable thoughts of Jacob Green by Joshua Braff: Those
that know me know I’m a HUGE Scrubs fan and just love Zach Braff. I did
a little research on Zach Braff and found out he comes from a highly creative family. I also found out he’s got a brother
that’s an author and this is his first book out. It’s
a comical tale about a young Jewish Othrodox male coming of age that takes place in the 1970s.
From the reviews I have read, it seems that Jacob’s father is a very controlling and hot tempered father. The
story depicts the quirky ways Jacob copes with all of this. The book has a 4 star rating on www.amazon.com I’m really curious
to read this myself.
2) Small Town Odds by Jason Headley: This is also
Jason's first novel and is also supposed to be a comical one. . It’s another
humorous book full of quirky characters that takes place in a way too small of a town in West Virginia. The main character
is a male in his early 20s that was once a high school football star that was on his way to bigger things including college.
But, he has made some mistakes along the way so, he remained living in the same town he grew up in working 2 jobs and helping
raise his daughter he has out of wedlock. This book is highly rated as well on amazon
3) Hands by M.A. Street: It’s about
a man born with the ability to heal by touch. You can go to http://www.Iuniverse.com/bookstore and search author M A Street, title HANDS to preview it. If you 'browse before you buy' you can read the 1st chapter
free. Check out Streets blog here: http://www.myspace.com/mastreet
4) Veil of Roses by Laura Fitzgerald: Laura says “It's a feel-good novel about a Persian girl who leaves Iran to come to America
in search of the happiness she was unable to find in her homeland. I think you'll love it -- people tell me it's a make-you-laugh,
make-you cry story with a character (Tamila Soroush) that they can really root for.” Learn more about this author at

5) Gloss by Jennifer
Oko: It's action packed all the way. A morning news show producer finds herself a victim of circumstance and
used as a scapegoat for something really big going on. A cover up for high ranking politician. The leading character takes
matters in her own hands using unconventional methods to expose the truth. Jennifer's book is now out in the stores.
6) "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova (msg me in the forum to see
how you can get the e-book version of this book) I finally finished this 600 some odd page book. I'm dying to talk about
it. Click the forum button.
7) "Memoirs of a Geisha" by Arthur Golden Book was hard to put down. Very original story detailing the culture and hardships of a Geisha. Sure it's a Cinderella
story, but I still think it's different enough from the other Cinderella stories to gain my thumbs up. The author really did
his homework indeed for this book
8)"The Nanny Diaries" by Emma McLaughlinTwo former nannies collaborate on a
novel about being a nanny on New York City`s Park Avenue, a job complete with overcompetitive parents, hapless children, ridiculous
Halloween costumes, etc. You don't have to be a nanny or have children
to appreciate this book. If you have ever had a boss from hell, you'll like this one. Again www.overstock.com to purchas this book
9)"My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult The difficult choices
a family must make when a child is diagnosed with a serious disease are explored with pathos and understanding in this 11th
novel by Picoult. I am halfway into this book and from a nurse's point of view, I find this to be quite medically accurate
as well as the familiy's responses to a serious illness. This is a very though provoking book. I recommend you purchase
this at a discount from www.overstock.com
10)Camel Club by David Baldacci Four oddball political conspiracy theorists--the Camel Club of the title--get some actual grist for their paranoia
in this near-future thriller by the bestselling author of HOUR GAME. As American actions abroad and at home spin out of control,
the Camel Club searches for evidence, no matter how far-out, that would force leaders to take some responsibility for the
desperate political situation. They unexpectedly stumble across such evidence when they witness the murder of a Secret Service
agent, which proves to be only the smallest part of a conspiracy of epic proportions
11) The Elder Staves by Steven Oliverez: The
sky-city of Tyr, floating above the frozen wasteland of a dead world, is a place of spells and skyscrapers, where the ruling
council of elders struggles to maintain its power against the growing influence of technology. A clandestine rebellion is
underway, assassinating nobles and threatening to topple the Council entirely, while far beneath the city a haunting, malevolent
presence from Tyr's mystical past silently gathers strength. But a far more pressing
issue is at hand – for the first time since its founding millennia ago, Tyr has begun falling toward the surface.
